A successful claim!
Our team at Claim Experts 4 U work tirelessly on behalf of our clients and those in need of our services. Unfortunately, many clients come to us after having been the victim of mis-sold and fraudulent financial products.
We judge every claim on an individual basis and listen to the needs of our clients and the circumstances surrounding their claims. Our team put a lot of time and effort into making sure we put forward the best possible argument, so we gain a successful result and money back for our clients.
This is why we are so proud to share with our readers when we have successfully reclaimed money for clients who have been through a particularly stressful and financially draining experience. In 2019 we were instructed to act on behalf of a couple who had been the victim of a fraudulent holiday product scheme that cost them thousands of pounds and years of worry and stress.
In 2013 our clients attended a presentation selling a lifestyle and concierge package. They were told this valuable product would cost £15,000 and for that price they would receive luxury holidays, discounted goods and flights and have access to a range of other highly discounted items. Following a nearly full day’s high-pressure sales presentation our clients informed the sales representative that they could not possibly afford to purchase this product at this price and so the seller agreed to lower the price to £12,000. Our clients then explained that although they did not intend to spend this amount of money they felt completely worn down by the sales rep and under extreme pressure to sign up there and then. They were told by the sales agent that this deal was only available on that day and if they declined, they would not be able to benefit from all the offers this package included. Furthermore, our clients were not left alone to think and talk to each other about making such a big important financial decision, instead they were pressured into signing up on the spot.
They agreed to pay a reduced price of £12,000 and paid a deposit to the seller. Our clients then arranged to make further payments on a monthly basis. It was not until they went to make their second payment of £2,000 it became clear that the seller was not providing the service and that the product had been mis-sold to them. In fact, they later learned that the product was completely worthless and that the directors of the company had been charged with various criminal offences relating to the lifestyle and concierge package they were selling.
Thankfully, our clients were directed to contact the team here at Claim Experts 4 U and we have been able to successfully argue their case and get their money back plus interest.
If you feel you or someone you know may have become the victim of this type of fraud, get in touch with us today. We hear from hundreds of clients who have been in similar situations and lost thousands of pounds. Our team are experts in these types of claims, and we will guide you through the process of reclaiming your money.
Another successful claim
At Claim Experts 4U our team have many years of experience in arguing consumer mis-selling claims. We are experts in presenting claims and one of the most important parts of our job is to listen to our clients and make sure we have all the information to put together a strong argument and in turn produce a successful outcome for them. Often a legitimate claim can be ruined if it is incorrectly presented which could compromise the opportunity to make a successful claim in the future. We take pride in our work and always work on behalf of our clients to ensure we gain a successful outcome, and we enjoy sharing this journey with others to show that if they have been a victim of a mis-sold financial product, all is not lost, and they could still make a claim.
One such recent outcome involved a couple who in 2014 were forced to endure a high-pressure sales presentation in relation to solar panels. Solar panels had been making the headlines a lot and the benefits of installing them seemed to out way the initial cost. There were also schemes available whereby you could sell back any extra energy your system produced to the grid and possibly make a profit. They were being marketed as an asset and seemed very appealing, so they agreed to listen to the presentation. What they did not expect was to have to endure a high-pressure sales presentation for hours on end. The salesperson was incredibly persistent and explained that the package would cost over £8,000 which was way above what our clients could afford. They declined the offer, however the salesperson agreed to lower the price to just over £5,000 and after hours of hard selling our clients agreed to pay the reduced price and signed up to a finance agreement the salesperson organised for them.
It was not until later that our clients discovered that the promises made to them by the solar company were completely false. In fact, they became significantly out of pocket because of this purchase. They were promised that the money they would make off the solar panels would pay in some way towards the loan repayments and this would be less than they would pay for normal electricity. The exact opposite was true, and the panels failed to make enough energy to cover this. The amounts made by our clients and the amounts saved during the production of energy fell far short of the loan repayments and they did not save any money on their energy bills.
After arguing a successful claim to the finance company, the money has been repaid to our clients in full and they are no longer burdened with repaying an unaffordable loan and free from the stress this caused them. If you have had a similar experience and were mis-led into purchasing solar panels our team of solar panel claims experts can help you make a compensation claim. We may be able to pursue a claim even if the company who sold you the panels has since gone out of business. This may be subject to how you paid for the panels i.e., loan finance or credit card purchase in part or full.
History of Solar Panel Mis-sellingSolar panel companies have been mis-selling the benefits of solar panels, having consumers believe that it was a way to save money on their electricity bills and earn money on their investment at the time by selling electricity back to the National Grid for a guaranteed amount, this is what is known as a “feeding tariff”. Many companies misled their customers into believing that they would make these savings and make money however, these claims have proven to be, in many cases grossly exaggerated.
Many of the solar panel installations were purchased using loan finance or credit, leaving their customers with expensive monthly loan payments with no way of covering the cost of the installation and the purchase of the solar panels. Following an investigation by the consumer group Which? In 2011, it was discovered that 9/12 companies selling solar panels gave inaccurate estimates about how much energy they would actually produce, and 7 out of 12 failed to survey the panel installation correctly leaving the panels in a shaded area which affected the panels ability to produce the promised amount of electricity. This along with the aggressive nature in which the solar panels were sold as left many consumers in debt and having to repay substantial loans and finance.
Successful Solar Panel Claim
Claims Experts 4 U were instructed to act on behalf of Mr and Mrs B from Nottinghamshire after they got in touch with our team to discuss their solar panel installation, they felt was mis-sold to them.
In 2018 they were visited in their home by a salesperson who was offering a fantastic deal on solar panels which would save them money on their energy bills. The solar panel salesperson explained that in purchasing them panels, they would be able to sell back electricity to the National Grid and they would make significant sums of money through producing their own energy this way. This would also reduce the cost of their overall bills. They also made claims that the amount of money saved ad recovered through the National Grid would be ample enough to cover repayments on the loan they would need to take out to purchase them.
After a half day of enduring a high-pressure sales presentation, our clients agreed to pay the purchase price of £10,000 and signed up to a loan agreement with a separate finance company. In March, this year they contacted Claims Experts 4 U after failing to see any of the promised benefits from having the solar panels fitted. In fact, all the representations made by the salesperson were false. The amounts saved over this period of time and the amount recovered from the sale of electricity fell far short of the loan repayments they were making to the finance company. Nearly two years down the line, our clients were actually in a significantly worse position.
This may be subject to how you paid for the panels i.e. loan finance or credit card purchase in part or full.

Successful claim for our clients
We are claims experts, with many years of experience in handling consumer claims. We operate an ethical and complete claims handling solution to consumers who have suffered financial detriment, as a consequence of being mis-sold or had misrepresented a product or service. One of the most important part of our jobs is listening to our clients and making sure we are providing them with the best possible service. This ensures we have all the relevant information to put forward a successful argument in order to win back money for products and services that have been mis-sold. We are experts in presenting claims, something that comes with many years of experience. A perfectly reasonable and legitimate claim can be ruined if it is incorrectly pleaded. If a claim has been presented badly it could compromise the opportunity to make a successful claim in the future.
We spend a great deal of time making sure we put forward the best possible claims for our clients and because of this have great success rates. That is also why we enjoy sharing our success with other people who may be going through a similar scenario or thinking about making a claim.
Our recent success story involves some clients who fell victim to a timeshare termination scam after their resort refused to relinquish their contract. In 2016 our clients were approached by a company selling a lifestyle and concierge package which included a timeshare termination. They were told they could access exclusive deals and offers with their scheme that were not available elsewhere. The package would cost them £10,000 but the sales agent explained that they would be able to recoup this money in savings over the years. Our clients explained they simply could not afford this as they were still paying for their original timeshare and so the salesperson dramatically reduced the price to £5,000. Our clients were so desperate to be rid of the timeshare burden they agreed to sign up there and then.
It was not until some months later when they attempted to access some of these exclusive offers and deals that they realised what they had purchased was totally worthless. In fact, on further investigation they learned that the directors of this company were actually being investigated for fraud and the company had ceased trading altogether. They were soon directed to the team here at Claim Experts 4 u and fortunately we have been able to claim back all monies they paid to this fraudulent company plus interest.
If you feel you or someone you know may have become the victim of this type of fraud, get in touch with us today. We hear from hundreds of clients who have been in similar situations and lost thousands of pounds. Our team are experts in these types of claims and we will guide you through the process of reclaiming your money.
